Clinical Director

  The Whitney Academy, Inc., a private residential treatment center and special education school for young men ages 10-22 is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Clinical Services. This senior level administrative/clinical position requires a Doctoral Degree in Psychology and Massachusetts licensure. In addition, the successful candidate will possess significant experience as a Department Head in: supervision and leadership of clinical staff; design and implementation of behavioral interventions; provision of verbal therapies in a residential or inpatient setting with experience treating trauma reactive, highly sexualized clients. In addition, the successful candidate will be up-to-date on the current research related to the neurological implications of trauma.

  The Director of Clinical Services provides administrative and clinical supervision to (4) LMHC therapists and provides administrative oversight to the Social Services Department, (4) LICSW's. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the Director of Program Services, Directors of Education & Residential Services to ensure compliance with regulations in policy development/implementation and on-going program refinement based upon advances in the field.
